国内でもやっとPCIExpressに直結するSSDが発売されるらしい。

250GBで２０万、500GBで３２万、1TBで５０万

とりあえず、read intensiveのストレージで1TBで十分収まるシステムであれば、これで力業だけど性能向上が見込めるはず。ストレージintensiveなシステムは、この分だと数年は「フリーピザの恩恵」を受けられるのかもしれないなあ。

とはいえ、ランダムライトについては決定的な解決法が出ていない以上、システム側での地道な努力が必要。
