暗喩ではなく、本当に目覚まし時計が壊れてしまったようだ。
まだ５～６年くらいしか使っていないつもりなのだけど、目覚まし時計としての使い方が荒かったのが原因だろうか。
秒針が28秒付近で止まってしまい、それに連動した分針も止まってしまうのだけれど、機械的な障害のように見える。しかし、いつもそれが発生するわけではなく、時たま発生するようなのだけれど、これを目覚まし時計として使うと事故が発生してしまう。
型番を改めて見ると、CASIO TQ-217と書いてある。

値段を今調べてみると980円～2000円ぐらいで、これは修理するようなものではなさそうだ。
しょうがないけれど、とりあえず新しいものを購入するとして、目覚まし時計に必要な要件を考えてみた。
・アナログタイプであること
・枕元に置くので、寝るときに秒針の音がしないこと
・電池残量が少なくなった時には問題が出る前に知らせてくれる機能があること
軽く調べてみると、SEIKOのKR317Wというのがよさそう。実売3670円程度。
